Alongside Denizen camps moving to the rooftops, a number of other map improvements are being implemented, including a warehouse redesign.

In the latest Deadlock update, a major raft of changes was implemented, including the ability to queue Deadlock item purchases via Quickbuy:

  • Hero Labs Features:
    • Added Trapper to Hero Labs.
    • Support for Hero Labs added in Private Lobbies, Private Bot Games, and Sandbox modes.
  • Gameplay Enhancements:
    • Quickbuy added to the game:
      • Right-click items in the shop to add them to your Quickbuy queue.
      • Automatically purchase items in order when affordable.
      • Indicator lights up when the next item is affordable.
    • Pre-compilation of shaders, map, and resources on the dashboard to improve match loading times and reduce in-game hitching.
    • Added visual indicator showing item type distribution (Weapon, Vitality, Spirit) in builds.
    • Added Recent Purchases Log in the shop, listing all items bought during a match.
    • Integrated Steam Game Recording Timeline API for automatic timeline markers (kills, deaths, objectives).
    • New Social Tab in Settings:
      • Includes Streamer Mode, Steam content filtering, and chat visibility adjustment.
  • User Interface Improvements:
    • Hero stats on HUD are now hidden by default, visible with ALT or TAB.
    • Added hover tooltips for stats on the HUD.
    • Adjustments to Active Reload UI indicator.
    • “Frenzied” text added for players with Frenzy at low health.
    • Hover over party members in queue to view their roster.
    • Renamed “Mouse Wheel” to “Chat Wheel.”
  • Bot AI:
    • Bots are more aggressive in attacking Shrines and the Patron in enemy bases.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Addressed numerous gameplay and UI bugs:
      • Fixed Quantum Entanglement unit movement issues.
      • Resolved duplicate Hero bugs in private lobbies.
      • Fixed various animation issues and visual clutter.
      • Updated visual effects and sounds for numerous heroes and abilities.
  • Map Updates
    • Adjusted neutral camp positions and introduced Cosmic Veils at mid entrances.
    • Redesigned warehouse interiors for better accessibility.
    • Various improvements to rooftop navigation and visual clarity:
      • Replaced small chimneys with larger spikes to indicate zap trigger locations.
  • Gameplay Balancing
    • Troopers no longer change soul-sharing rules post-laning phase.
    • Increased hero kill gold scaling from 150-1400 to 175-2000 (value increases from lowest to highest between the 0–45 min mark).
    • Adjusted neutral creep soul values (-5%) and Trooper/Walker/Guardian interactions.
    • Several hero buffs and nerfs, including health, attack, and ability scaling adjustments.
  • Item Balancing
  • Hero Changes
    • Adjusted hero abilities and scaling for balance:
      • Buffed or nerfed damage, cooldowns, and resistances (eg: Abrams, Bebop, Dynamo).
      • Fixed hit detection and animation issues (eg: Lash, Viscous).
      • Introduced new scaling mechanics and ability synergies.
