The single most important, thrilling, exclusive, impressive, update for Valve’s hero shooter MOBA yet has landed, and it’s a real game-changer! In this incredible, ludicrous, awe-inspiring Deadlock update, Valve has increased the sprint speed of all heroes by 0.5 m/s.
Yes, you read that right, a whole 0.5 m/s increase!
And that’s the entire update! No new Deadlock heroes, map changes, ability adjustments, nerfs, buffs, or anything else of that kind. A sprint speed increase is all we’re getting which, in fairness, was desperately needed ever since the Deadlock map was reduced to three lanes from four. The decrease in lanes resulted in the jungle effectively growing wider, meaning players had to spend longer in the jungle if they wanted to switch lanes.
Hopefully, the 0.5 m/s increase will be enough for players to rotate as needed, and hopefully the next Deadlock update will be a bit bigger.
