Another Deadlock patch has dropped, and includes a considerable number of changes to numerous Deadlock heroes and items, shaking up the meta in the process. The Mid Boss has also been rebalanced in the July 4, 2025 update, receiving a greater bounty, reducing its shield regeneration, and reducing its Spirit Resistance from releveant Deadlock items.
A few fixes were also included for Calico, AoE abilities like Kelvin’s Frost Grenade, and fixed a bug which enabled players to leave the Deadlock map if they tried to teleport to specific corners.
Compared to the previous update, this latest rebalance doesn’t overhaul any major mechanics, or overturn the gameplay by changing the behavior of Flex Slots, or removing lanes from the map. It will, however, likely have an impact on the Deadlock leaderboard. So, make sure you check the full patch notes on the official forum post if you need to tweak your builds.
