It seems the meta is going to get another good shaking as the latest Deadlock update has rebalanced a huge number of Deadlock items and Deadlock hero abilities.
The Mid Boss has been made tankier, at least from the get go, increasing its starting health to 12500 from 6750, but decreasing the rate at which its health increases from 470 to 200. While it might make it more difficult to take the Mid Boss down, particularly early on in your average game, the rewards have been sweetened by changing the rejuvination bonus provided by the Rejuv crystals. If you pick up a Rejuv crystal while one is already in your possession, it will instead go automatically to an ally’s inventory. Opponents also won’t get a bounty reward if they take you down for the first time while you have a Rejuv crystal in hand.
Interestingly, Valve has also decided to vary dash speeds so that they feel a bit more in keeping with the character’s aesthetic and theme:
- +5% dash speed: Ivy, Haze, Holliday, Calico, Grey Talon, Paradox
- -5% dash speed: Seven, Mirage, Lash, Yamato, Pocket, Viscous, Vyper, Warden, Vindicta, Sinclair, Wraith, Infernus, Lady Geist
- -15% dash speed: Mo & Krill, Abrams, Shiv, Dynamo, Bebop, Kelvin, McGinnis
A considerable number of weapon, vitality, and spirit item rebalances were also made, and you can read the full list of changes over on the official patch notes announcement.
